Drumming is such a key part to any musical piece; a song cannot be completed without having
the beat of a drum in the background. It sets the rhythm for the whole song. Drums, they are just one of the many amazing instruments that are available to the world. To play the drums is not the easiest of instruments to learn. Many study for years to master the art of playing the drum, others have a natural talent are able to just pick a pair of drum sticks and band away as if they’d been playing all their lives. John Bonham

John Henry Bonham was born in Redditch, United Kingdom. John began learning to play the drums at the young age of 5. John is well known as the drummer of the famous rock band Led Zeppelin, John was specifically known for his speed and well-known sound. He helped bring the band to the fame, so they well deserved with his speed and talent. Sadly, John died in 1980 at the age of 32, but not without leaving behind a legacy of songs.

Phil Collins

Phillip David Charles Collins LVO was born in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Phil is mostly recognized as the drummer for the band Genesis, He was also a part of a number of other bands including Brand X, Band Aid, The Phil Collins Big Band, and Flaming Youth. Phil started playing the drums as a young child and also pursued some child acting. He joined the band Genesis in 1970 and well the rest is history, his drum solos are known around the world, he is also known for his great and unique voice as well, singing while drumming is a true talent.

Ringo Starr

Richard Starkey better known as Ringo Starr is a British drummer from Liverpool, United Kingdom. Ringo gained fame from being The Beatle’s drummer. When the Beatles came together in 1960 Ringo was a part of a different band at the time. 2 years later Slater Ringo quit the Hurricanes and joined The Beatles. His drumming is loved all over the world and was a soul part of The Beatles music. He is very possibly one of the most famous drummers of all time as he was the drummer for one of the most famous bands of all time.

Keith Moon

Keith Moon is well praised in the musical world, another British musician that focused in the rock genre.  Keith was known for being the drummer of the band The Who, his unique sound was what gained him a lot of his popularity. As the band rose to fame he helped them developed the unique sound that they are so well known for.
