Keith Moon (The Who)

Keith Moon

Keith Moon AKA Moon the Loon was the eccentric and emblematic drummer from The Who. Known widely for his excesses, for his technique and his anarchy, he felt at ease behind a gigantic battery full of toms and with a double bass drum. The drumming of toms and cymbals were one of his hallmarks.

Travis Barker (Blink 182)

The member of the Blink 182 pop-punk band, Travis Barker is a fast and energetic drummer, also known for his peculiar appearance: tattoos all over his body and a Mohican crest that has accompanied him for a long time. His mother bought him his first drummer when he was only 4 years old, and Travis Barker started his first music lessons with a jazz teacher.

Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Metallica, Korn, Rob Zombie)

Metal drummer playing currently with Slipknot, Jordison is for many the best drummer in the world. He has also played in legendary bands such as Metallica, Korn or Rob Zombie, quite a career for a man from Des Moines, Iowa.

He is known for being Slipknot’s number 1 because he is the first to enter the scene. He carries all the weight of the songs upon his shoulders, because, even if the guitarist and the bass player stop playing, the drums never stop.

Once, a journalist asked him what he thought of this "first place" and he modestly replied that the ‘title’ reminded him that he had to work even harder to be able to stay as number 1 and in a very humble way, he reminds rock stars that they are people, before celebrities. His talent and power have made him one of the best drummers in history.
